Executive Function
Take Control of Your Workday.
Get Things Done Together.
Executive Function is Startup Mojave’s open coworking group — where community meets productivity.
Whether you’re a freelancer, entrepreneur, student, or remote worker, this event offers you the chance to work in a supportive environment, alongside others who are equally committed to getting things done.
Why attend a coworking meetup?
● Boost Your Productivity: Get work done in a focused environment, free from distractions.
● Build Personal Agency: Take control of your time, your tasks, and your goals.
● Join a Supportive Community: Surround yourself with motivated people who are also dedicated to getting things done.
● Embrace Accountability: Sometimes, just knowing others are working alongside you keeps you on track.
Who is Executive Function For?
Executive Function is open to everyone—no matter what your role or industry. You don’t need to be an “executive” to join! This coworking club is perfect for:
● Freelancers & Remote Workers: If you’re working from home or a coffee shop and want more structure and focus in your day, this is for you.
● Entrepreneurs & Solopreneurs: Build momentum for your business by dedicating focused time to your most important tasks.

● Your personal and work related goals for the session (we’ll help keep you accountable!).
About
Executive
Function
The name Executive Function is a nod to the psychological term that refers to the mental processes that enable us to plan, focus, and achieve our goals—because this isn’t just about working hard, it’s about working smart.

It’s not a social hour
While we may spend 10 minutes catching up and settling in at the beginning of the meetup, the rest of our three hour agenda is dedicated to being truly focused and productive.
This is not a social/talking event. Come to Open Coffee for that. This is “heads down” work time — a dose of accountability, and the occasional nudge to help each other past obstacles and challenges.
Show up to Executive Function to get work done. Resist being a distraction (we’re all tempted)!
A coworking initiative
For now we are meeting briefly in public 3rd places like coffee shops and libraries. Our goal is to develop interest in coworking toward the establishment of a community hub style coworking space. Our Execution Club meetups are just one tiny aspect of what a vibrant coworking community can be.
Tools & Concepts
Here’s a short introduction to some of the concepts, tools, and methods we use to get work done.
We’re prototyping this content in a Google Doc for now.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
We encourage you to RSVP in advance to help us plan, but walk-ins are welcome as long as there’s space available.
No, Executive Function is a free coworking event. Just bring your work and your goals. When we meet in coffee shops and cafes, we encourage you to patronize the business. We’re thankful for the workspaces we have, and want them to be glad we’re around.
Nope! You’re welcome to drop in and out as your schedule allows. However, we recommend staying for the full session to get the most out of it. Note that if you arrive late you will have missed the short opportunity to socialize while folks are settling in.
Not at all! Executive Function is open to anyone who wants to be productive and work alongside others. Whether you’re a freelancer, student, creative, or remote worker, you’re welcome to join us.
Bring whatever you need to work on—laptop, notebook, creative tools, etc.
